Two years ago Oracle acquired a company called Netsuite for just under $10 billion. Oracle (and their behemoth peer, SAP) have long played in the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) space but they had little to no cloud capability and were on the wrong side of a dangerous trend. Netsuite was their late arrival and with the price tag they needed to do some pretty impressive things, and do them quickly.
One of the more enjoyable parts of my role here at Zave is to help startups and SMEs navigate the funding landscape. It's a topic close to heart having structured various funding instruments for Corporates, Banks and Governments during my capital markets career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Now being able to apply that experience to see our clients grow and flourish is truly gratifying!

This one has no relation whatsoever to Corporate Services but worth writing nonetheless, so please bear with me.
We’re pretty big fans of Amazon around here. From purchasing office supplies with Amazon Prime to securely hosting our systems with Amazon Web Services, there is a lot we need to give the behemoth that is Amazon credit for.
Having now stated the darned obvious for a modern company, let me now try and make this inaugural blog a little more interesting than just pointing out that Amazon is the quickest way to get sticky multi-colour post-it notes to my desk in Singapore.
So here goes.
